Jireh Family Farm is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Weekend Worker to join our team. This role involves a combination of animal care, grounds maintenance, and retail operations at the Jireh Family Farm Meat Market. The ideal candidate will be reliable, customer-focused, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic farm environment. (20-25 hours per week, Monday- Friday)

Responsibilities

Animal Care : Feed and water livestock, ensuring animals are properly cared for according to farm protocols.

Egg Collection : Collect eggs from poultry, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain quality.

Grounds Maintenance : Perform tasks such as sweeping & maintaining store cleanliness, organizing, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of farm grounds.

Retail Operations : Operate the Jireh Family Farm Meat Market, including:

Assisting customers with product selection and providing information about farm products.

Processing purchases accurately using the checkout system.

Delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.

Multitasking : Balance animal care responsibilities with retail sales duties, prioritizing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Strong interest in farming and animal care.

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 70 pounds and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Be able to be walking, standing constantly for hours at a time.

Previous experience in farming, animal care, or retail is preferred but not required.
