Qualifications

• DEA license or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

Part-Time / PRN Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Community Quick Care is seeking a Part-Time or PRN Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our outpatient clinic in La Vergne, Tennessee. This role is ideal for providers seeking flexible scheduling while practicing in a supportive, patient-focused clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and minor injuries
• Conduct sick visits, wellness visits, and follow-up visits
• Manage common chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and asthma
• Perform physical exams and preventive care visits
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, incision & drainage, ear wax removal)
• Provide patient education and counselingMaintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Active Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license or ability to obtain
• DEA license or eligibility
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or family medicine preferred
