Job summary

Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to help maintain churches, schools, and associated facilities. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs to keep buildings and grounds in good condition.

Responsibilities include minor electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, as well as moving equipment and coordinating with the facilities team. On-site work requires availability for nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid State driver’s license.
• Experience with building, ground, and/or industrial maintenance.
• Technical/Trade experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all areas of the facility, grounds, and parking areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Report safety issues to Facilities Manager and Business Manager.
• Perform installations, and minor repairs of electrical appliances, plumbing, and HVAC components.
• Assist in projects related to building maintenance, electrical fixtures, and carpentry.
• Schedule and execute preventative maintenance tasks; assist HVAC scheduling and monitoring.
• Move and transport furniture and materials as needed; maintain tools and equipment.
