Job summary

CCS Facility Services seeks a reliable janitor to maintain clean and orderly common areas in office buildings, apartments, and other facilities in the Phoenix area. You will perform routine tasks with attention to safety and security, reporting any safety concerns to management.

Responsibilities include lobby cleaning, trash removal, restroom sanitation, floor cleaning, and assisting the building Engineer as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable availability for weekend shifts as described in the schedule.
• Ability to perform routine janitorial tasks in commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Spot clean the lobby glass doors
• Polish chrome on lobby doors
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day
• Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles
• Check restrooms twice daily
• Vacuum lobby once a day or as needed
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed
• Remove all debris from landscaped areas as needed
• Sweep building entrances
• Clean and remove smudges and marks on walls, doors, and wall covering
• Report any lights out to the Management Office
• Policing lobby areas during high-traffic times
• Empty all trash receptacles
• Vacuum carpeted floors
• Dust mop lobby floors twice daily
• Polish elevator cab railings and doors and main lobby call buttons
• Assist building Engineer daily per Management discretion
