Job summary

CCS Facility Services is hiring a Janitor to keep workspaces clean, organized, and disinfected across offices and common areas. You will vacuum, sweep, mop, clean windows, and maintain restrooms while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include trash handling, disinfecting equipment and surfaces, and reporting maintenance needs. Lifts up to 50 pounds and end-of-shift closing duties are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators and stairs.
• Clean chairs and upholstered furniture stains; keep furniture dust-free.
• Maintain lighting fixtures, marble surfaces and moldings; wipe surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers; clean trash cans and ashtrays.
• Disinfect desks, door handles, office tools and phones; clean and maintain restrooms; replenish supplies.
• Wash and clean windows and mirrors; remove snow on sidewalks if needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report missing materials to supervisors.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs.
• Close doors at the end of the night shift.
