Job summary

Crystal Finishing Systems in Mosinee, WI is hiring for a weekend extrusion operator on Fri–Sun, 5am–5pm. You will cross-train in all press operations, optimize die order and press settings, fix issues causing scrap, inspect samples, and assist with maintenance to prevent downtime.

Knowledge of production operations helpful; extrusion press experience preferred but not required; ability to read and operate a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of production operations and experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial.
• Previous work experience on an extrusion press is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and operate a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer required.
• Entry level computer experience is useful.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train in all press operations to maximize efficiency.
• Optimize die order and press settings for best output.
• Identify and fix issues causing scrap to improve efficiency.
• Inspect samples to meet customer specifications and maintain quality.
• Perform maintenance and ensure proper loading to prevent downtime.
