Job summary

HomeStar Remodeling is seeking an experienced Event Manager to run the home-show/area-event channel. You will book events, set up booths, lead the floor team, and coach staff. This role rewards performance with bonuses and sales-based incentives.

Most events run Friday through Sunday, with weekday planning. You’ll travel to events, manage logistics, and build a reliable team capable of handling multiple events in different locations each weekend.

Qualifications

• 2+ years working events for remodeling/home-services companies.
• Ability to show numbers from past roles (appointments booked per event, sit rate, conversion).
• Ability to lead a small team and train new event staff.
• Reliable vehicle and ability to lift around 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lining up events by contacting organizers, securing booth space, negotiating placement, and calendar management.
• Setting up booths on event day, unloading, assembling displays, and presenting products.
• Working events to convert conversations into booked in-home estimates, coaching the team in real time.
• Building and training the event staff to operate multiple events across locations.
