Opportunity

The Town of Mansfield is currently recruiting for the Part Time Weekend/Evening Supervisor (Manager on Duty – MOD) to work in our Parks and Recreation Department at the Mansfield Community Center.

Total Compensation

The position is part-time and non-benefitted. The hourly rate is $21.07–$22.35. It is scheduled for 7 to 14 hours per month (1–2 shifts) and may include evening, weekend, holiday work, with occasional daytime hours.

What You Bring

We seek candidates with an associate’s degree from an accredited community college in parks and recreation, hospitality, business, or a related field, plus some supervisory and/faculty / office management experience.

About the Position

Responsibilities include enforcing faculty policies, directing and supervising faculty staff, performing reception related duties such as registration processing, providing tours to prospective members, and responding to the needs of members and guests.

About the Department

The Parks & Recreation Department employs approximately 10 full‑time and 250 part‑time employees, supporting multiple organizations across the Town of Mansfield, including the Mansfield Board of Education, the Region 19 School District, the Mansfield Downtown Partnership, the Eastern Highlands Health District, the Mansfield Discovery Depot, and the Town of Mansfield itself.
