Do you have a passion for working with children? The Town of Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department is seeking childcare staff!

As childcare staff, what will I be doing?

Duties include but are not limited to: the care of small and large groups of children ranging in ages of 1-7 years, providing a variety of age appropriate activities, games and crafts, as well as feeding and changing of the participants. Employees must be high energy with a desire to work with children.

Requirements

Successful applicants will have prior experience working with children.

The Mansfield Community Center Child Care Room is currently open during the following hours:
Monday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
Tuesday 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
Wednesday 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
Friday 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Sunday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

These hours are subject to change. It is expected that Child Care Staff have some weekend availability.

All Child Care Staff must obtain and maintain a current Infant and Child CPR certification; opportunities for certification will be provided if necessary.

Compensation

All childcare positions are part-time, hourly position with no benefits.

Pay: $16.35 per hour

Selected candidates will be subject to a background check.
