Job summary

St. Luke Health Services is seeking an experienced nursing leader to coordinate administrative and clinical activities for an assigned shift. The role requires ensuring quality resident care, supervising staff, and maintaining documentation and confidentiality.

Evening and weekend shifts are available with the possibility of double shifts. The ideal candidate has RN licensure in New York and at least 3 years of clinical and managerial experience in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in New York State.
• At least 3 years of clinical and managerial experience in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Support and demonstrate practice aligned with the facility's mission and standards.
• Oversee resident care and evaluate/guide nursing staff in the absence of executive leadership.
• Coordinate administrative and clinical activities for designated shift.
• Ensure adherence to care plans and documentation, including charting and reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and communicate with physicians and families as needed.
• Supervise assignment of staff for next shift and manage call-ins for coverage.
