Job summary

Campus Services Group is hiring a Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe floors across campus environments. Hours are 12–8pm with weekend availability, on-site at 4501 North Charles St, Baltimore, MD 21210.

You will perform stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet cleaning, and operate floor-care equipment, while following safety and infection-control policies. We offer hands-on training, career development, and benefits to all employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred; training provided.
• Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 75 pounds.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must be available to work 12–8pm and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized floor care tasks, such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
• Safely operate floor care equipment, including auto scrubbers and burnishers.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors in classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
• Follow safety, infection control, sanitation, and hazardous materials policies.
• Respond promptly to floor care requests and communicate with campus staff.
• Perform light janitorial duties as needed.
