Visiting Angels in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Specialized Senior Community Caregiver to provide evening support across multiple residents in an Independent Living community. The role entails moving between apartments to complete scheduled tasks, with emphasis on following care plans, reminders, and accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, and capable of managing several residents and care plans during one shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, personal care, senior living, or home care.
• Be dependable and punctual with schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Able to manage several residents and care plans in one shift.
• Communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable using a mobile app to review assignments and document services.
• Able to walk between apartments and stay active during shifts.
• Treat residents with compassion, patience, dignity, and respect.

Responsibilities

• Move between residents' apartments within the same senior community.
• Follow individualized care plans for each resident.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with daily activities.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and bedtime routines.
• Assist with meal or breakfast ordering and planning.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance when needed.
• Complete scheduled visits within allotted times and document services promptly.
• Report changes in a resident's condition or needs to the team.
