Job summary

Research Medical Center in Overland Park, KS is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Weekend Emergency Room coverage. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians and the care team, using established nursing models and advocating for patients and families.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible experienced RNs, with other bonuses not combinable with loan programs.

Qualifications

• RN license required and valid
• Pediatric emergency certifications within 1 year of employment
• No travel required; experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with the care team
• Document care in patient records accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and self-care
• Advocate for patients and families to ensure optimal outcomes
