Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department on a weekends-only schedule (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM). The part-time position supports patient care across acute and chronic presentations, with opportunities for education and professional growth.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning and delegation, interdisciplinary collaboration, committee involvement, and mentoring students while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using your expert skills.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Stay compliant with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements.
