Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ED in El Paso, Texas. This full-time role provides direct clinical care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, and implementation of patient care, with supervision of staff and adherence to hospital policies.

Required: state-approved nursing education and current licensure; CPR/BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing; recent acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a state approved school of nursing or an accredited school.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• Experience: Recent acute care experience preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed/certified to practice; CPR/AHA BLS required; ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP as applicable by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a per-shift basis.
• Supervise staff where appropriate and support nurse leadership.
• Coordinate care within the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality standards.
