Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Zero to one year of relevant EHS experience; strong aptitude for learning.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and stop unsafe work when required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across manufacturing operations.
• Willingness to work onsite in Hollister and transition to a Fri–Sun weekend schedule.
• Ability to document observations, maintain records, and use common computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an onsite EHS contact during assigned weekend shifts; respond to safety questions and incidents, evaluate concerns, and escalate as needed.
• Conduct routine manufacturing-floor observations and Gemba walks to identify unsafe conditions and reinforce safe practices.
• Perform safety inspections, compliance reviews, and Kamishibai audits; track findings and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation including incident records, audit logs, and program records.
• Support incident investigations and occupational exposure reviews; assist root-cause evaluation and corrective actions.
• Apply stop-work procedures and coordinate with site leadership and EHS personnel when unsafe conditions are found.
• Assist with Process Hazard Analyses (PSM) and reviews of process changes under guidance of EHS team.
• Communicate safety requirements and deliver safety briefings and training to manufacturing personnel.
• Evaluate and coordinate engineering or administrative controls to reduce hazards and exposure.
• Support regulatory compliance activities with environmental, health and energetic-material safety teams.
