Ralliant is hiring an EHS Specialist to provide hands-on environmental, health, and safety support for expanding weekend manufacturing operations in Hollister, California. This entry-level role serves as the primary onsite safety resource during weekend shifts, recognizing hazards, responding to incidents, and maintaining safety records in a highly regulated environment.

Initial onboarding will be followed by a Friday–Sunday onsite weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Zero to one year of relevant EHS experience or strong aptitude for learning.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and escalate safety concerns.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Hollister, with a Friday–Sunday weekend schedule.
• Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, DOT, DOE, DTSC, ATF, and DoD standards as relevant.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite EHS contact during weekend shifts; respond to safety questions and incidents, evaluate concerns, and elevate issues as appropriate.
• Conduct manufacturing-floor observations and Gemba walks to identify unsafe conditions and reinforce safe work practices.
• Perform safety inspections, compliance reviews, Kamishibai audits; track findings and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, incident/injury records, audit logs, spreadsheets, and program records.
• Support incident investigations and root-cause evaluation; assist with corrective actions.
• Apply stop-work procedures when unsafe conditions are identified; coordinate with site leadership.
• Support Process Safety Management activities and reviews of manufacturing changes.
• Communicate safety requirements and deliver safety briefings and training for personnel.
• Assist with engineering/administrative controls to reduce hazards and exposure.
• Support regulatory compliance activities with the team.
