Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN PRN to provide direct, comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced ED. Requirements include Indiana license (or compact), BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS within specified timeframes, plus 2 years ER experience.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license is required.
• BLS for healthcare provider required.
• ACLS certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• PALS certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• NIHSS certification required (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).
• 2 years of ER experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient in the ED.
• Function as an on-shift team member providing care to patients, families, and co-workers.
