Job summary

The Container Store Distribution Center in Coppell, TX is seeking Pickers/Packers/Loader to join our e-commerce team. As a Picker/Packer, you will use voice picking and powered equipment to accurately pick and pack orders for our Direct to Consumer channel.

This full-time role offers starting pay at $18.00/hour, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth in a 1,000,000 square-foot automated DC. Weekends shifts Saturday and Sunday support our high-volume fulfillment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with walkie rider and stock chaser equipment.
• Experience in a highly automated distribution environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of distribution systems, labor management, RF devices, and voice picking preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 47 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Strong attendance, reliability and ability to work scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow standardized work for picking, packing, loading and cutting procedures.
• Meet time-based productivity standards consistently.
• Utilize voice picking system to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure correct quantity and quality of items per order.
• Work in multi-level picking modules and around conveyors.
• Maintain a safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Support and work in various DC departments as needed.
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy throughout the DC.
