Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for weekend positions in Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

The role offers $15.75 per hour with training provided, no experience required, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. You will work as part of a team to promote independence and safety, perform personal care and household tasks, and may qualify for a comprehensive benefits package if you are full-time, plus paid training, mileage

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid Indiana driver's license and car insurance.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.
• Experience in developmental disabilities or direct care is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to foster independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Work with a team to meet the needs of those served.
• Teach and assist individuals in all aspects of life.
• Complete household tasks including meal prep and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
• Provide personal care assistance.
