Dungarvin is hiring a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver to provide hands-on support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role involves positive direction, mentoring, and helping with daily living tasks in a respectful, person-centered way.

Schedule is Saturday and Sunday evenings or overnights, with mandatory two weeks of training. Starting wage is $15.75 per hour for full-time employees, with comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, dental, life

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Comfortable driving company vehicles to transport persons served.
• Able to document care and support plans.
• Person-centered, patient, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around, getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, toileting, personal hygiene and more.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
