Job summary

The Florida Safety Council is seeking a Driver Education Instructor for a part-time role, primarily Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in Casselberry, FL. No prior experience required; paid training is provided.

You will deliver behind-the-wheel instruction in a FSC-approved vehicle to students in a safe learning environment. This position requires a valid Florida Class E license, being at least 21, and meeting background checks.

Qualifications

• Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Legal resident of the State of Florida.
• Possess a valid Class E Florida driver license.
• Possess a High School Diploma or GED; college degree preferred.
• Background checks and drug tests required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide behind-the-wheel driving instruction in a FSC-approved vehicle.
• Maintain punctuality and ensure required hours of instruction.
• Meet with student and guardian before and after driving lessons.
• Verify learner's permit or restricted license prior to instruction.
• Perform vehicle inspections with the student before lessons.
• Document mileage for each lesson and maintain records.
• Follow all safety rules and payroll procedures; handle admin tasks.
