Qualifications

• Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state where the center is located.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• The Driver's Education Instructor teaches in a regular classroom setting.
• Promotes a positive classroom atmosphere to maximize student motivation and learning.
• Meets SMART Goals established by management each program year.
• Instructs on Office Administration curriculum per Job Corps requirements.
• Counsels and motivates students regarding behavior and study habits.
• Individualizes curriculum to fit students' vocational choices and maintains contact with counselors.
• Prepares reports on hours, requisitions, and monthly evaluations.
• Collaborates with the BCL-WBL Coordinator to implement the School to Career program.
