Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina Professional Educator's License.
• Current North Carolina Driver Education Instructor Certification.
• Valid NC driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience and training sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction using the North Carolina Driver Education curriculum.
• Provide safe, effective behind-the-wheel instruction that develops student driving knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrates and models safe driving habits and defensive driving techniques.
• Utilize instructional technology, including Canvas, Google Classroom, Zoom, and audiovisual equipment, to support student learning.
• Establish a positive learning environment that promotes student engagement, responsibility, and safety.
