Job summary

The Mobilization Center is seeking Weekend Door Canvassers for the 2026 election season. Our team engages voters at their doors to educate Alaskans about important issues facing our state and country.

We are a values-driven, women-owned company specializing in field organizing and civic engagement across Alaska. This role is part-time with a pay rate of $28/hour plus bonuses, working Saturdays and/or Sundays in Anchorage and statewide travel is available.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working outdoors in a range of weather conditions.
• Live in Alaska.
• Comfortable discussing political issues with voters.
• Ability to stay positive under stressful conditions.
• No political experience required (though it is a plus!).

Responsibilities

• Walk door-to-door in neighborhoods.
• Interview and engage registered voters about upcoming elections, candidates, and issues.
• Record accurate data and work with leadership to ensure data quality.
• Meet daily, weekly, and project-long contact goals.
• Write daily narrative reports to the leadership team.
• Comply with all procedures and policies outlined in The Mobilization Center Employee Handbook.
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by TMC Leadership Team
