Job summary

The Mobilization Center is hiring Door and Travel Canvassers for the 2026 election season in Anchorage, Alaska. The role involves walking neighborhoods, engaging registered voters on elections and issues, and statewide travel as needed.

• Must be able to communicate clearly with voters.
• Comfortable speaking with new people about political issues.
• Honest, reliable and self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
• Must be available for all scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Walk door-to-door in neighborhoods to engage voters.
• Interview and discuss elections, candidates and issues.
• Record accurate data and ensure data quality with leadership.
• Meet daily, weekly and project goals; write daily narratives.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow handbook policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
