Job summary

AHRC Nassau seeks Direct Support Professionals to work at our Woodbury location, Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 14 hours per week. The pay range starts at $14.00 per hour and goes higher based on experience.

Direct Support Professionals help residents achieve goals and outcomes while supporting daily living and well-being. Responsibilities include assisting with self-care, health, safety, household tasks, socialization, and ensuring a high quality of life, in alignment

Qualifications

• Must have ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives.
• Must be able to read and understand directives and information.
• NY driver license requirements noted as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to residents in Community Living Services to ensure high quality of life.
• Support areas such as self-care routines, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and well-being.
• Practice and promote the agency’s mission and guiding principles in every interaction.
