Job summary

AHRC Nassau in East Norwich is seeking a Direct Support Professional for weekends (Sat, Sun, 3p–11p), 16 hours per week. The pay starts at $14.00 per hour and increases with experience. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have/submit NYS driver’s license and maintain qualified driver status.
• Ability to communicate and understand written and oral directives/information.

Responsibilities

• Promote the agency’s mission statement and guiding principles in every interaction.
• Provide ongoing support to residents in the Community Living Services program to maintain a high quality of life.
• Provide support in areas such as self-care routines and related health tasks.
