Job summary

Ardmore Enterprises is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a weekend shift in Bowie, MD. This part-time role (Saturday/Sunday, 3:00pm-11:00pm) focuses on helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities pursue personal goals and participate in community activities.

You will support daily living, transportation, and social engagement while maintaining a person-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Able to communicate effectively with individuals receiving services.
• Experience in residential settings serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or related populations.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in achieving personal goals with a person-centered focus.
• Teach daily living and personal care skills to residents.
• Coordinate and participate in social activities and community outings.
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, meal prep, and shopping.
