Richcroft, Inc. in Harford County, MD is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide hands-on care for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role supports with personal hygiene, daily activities, outings, shopping, cooking, and cleaning, requiring compassion and reliability.

This weekend shift runs Saturday and Sunday 8am–10pm. Responsibilities include documenting progress, assisting with community participation, promoting independent living, and building

Qualifications

• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• Must have at least 2 years of driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current driver’s license with less than 3 points on record.
• Must be able to transport people supported as needed.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with participation and exploration of the community.
• Cultivate and expand independent living skills.
• Assist with personal hygiene, activities, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking and cleaning.
• Assist with development of meaningful and personal relationships.
• Complete required documentation (e.g., incident reports, progress notes, behavior data, fire drills).
• Administer and record medications as required by state and agency.
