The Chimes, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in the United States, Maryland, Silver Spring. The role offers $20.25/hour with comprehensive benefits and paid training, reflecting a mission-driven environment focused on dignity and independence for individuals with disabilities.

As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support, implement care plans, document progress, and assist with daily living activities. Travel to residential or day programs may be required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in disability services preferred; training provided.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing, and daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some roles require travel between Residential and Day programs.
