Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Maryland to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges. You will provide hands-on support with kindness in a team-focused environment and follow individualized care plans to promote dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!).
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean record or limited points.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs.

Skills
