Job summary

Sevita in Irving, TX is seeking a caregiver to support individuals with developmental needs in-home and in the community. The role operates Fri-Sun from 6am to 10pm with pay at $9.00 per hour and eligible overtime opportunities.

A valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving history is required. As a Sevita caregiver, you’ll build meaningful relationships, assist with personal care, and help participants achieve personal goals, while benefiting from a full benefits package and career

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
Strong communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
Valid driver’s license with 1 year of unrestricted driving history.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with complex needs.
Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve.
Support participants in achieving developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
Encourage participants to be part of the community and enjoy their activities.
