Job summary

Alta Mira Specialized Family Services is seeking a part-time weekend team member to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. You will assist with daily living activities, transportation, and community engagement while maintaining thorough documentation and safety protocols.

The position requires high school completion, 2+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to work Saturdays and Sundays 8 am–6 pm.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Two+ years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and families.

Responsibilities

• Attend to attendance policies and punctuality.
• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records (attendance, meals, activities).
• Communicate effectively with participants, families, and supervisors.
• Support scheduling, menus, and weekly activity planning.
• Ensure safety of participants and supervise activities and outings.
• Perform household duties (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.).
• Complete required trainings by deadlines.
