Job summary

Faithful Home Care Solutions in King of Prussia, PA is seeking experienced, reliable caregivers to provide non-medical home care in clients' homes, with a focus on weekend shifts. The Direct Care Worker assists with personal care, ADLs, mobility, companionship, and maintaining a safe, clean environment while following care plans and state regulations.

A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to interact compassionately with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care).
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meals, ambulation, transfers.
• Utilize safety techniques and equipment (Hoyer lift as needed).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Support client independence according to the care plan.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Follow standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with family and care team.
• Adhere to agency policies, professional standards, and state regulations.
