Job summary

YOUR CARE AT HOME LLC in Philadelphia is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide compassionate, in-home direct care for clients. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, personal hygiene, and medications in a safe, caring environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of direct patient care, and be willing to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/NCCC preferred.
• 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices in direct care.
• Experience with medication reminders and treatments.
• Ability to assist with mobility, personal care and hygiene.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping, errands, and meal preparation.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and safe waste disposal.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and caring approach.
• Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass state background check and competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance, company, and comfort to immobile, ill, or frail clients.
• Assist with medication reminders and prescribed treatments.
• Monitor patients and report changes to designated parties.
• Perform personal hygiene care and housekeeping duties.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking.
