Distinctive Living is seeking a Cook to support weekend dining operations at Mira Vie at Toms River. The role focuses on quality meals, safe service, and accommodating residents' dietary needs, reporting to the Director of Restaurant and Hospitality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in food service required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports the dining program with meal preparation and service.
• Conforms to menu guidelines and nutritional requirements set by management.
• Ensures foods are prepared and served to residents safely and to their satisfaction.
• Maintains proper food temperatures, storage, and sanitation standards.
• Keeps kitchen and prep areas clean and organized; adheres to safety protocols.
• Collaborates with team to deliver positive resident experiences during meals.
