Job summary
Amatus Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a weekend position at our TruHealing Bethlehem, NH location. The RN will support detoxification and behavioral health treatment services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Charge Nurses.
The role focuses on comprehensive nursing care, medication administration, patient monitoring, and collaboration with medical and clinical teams to ensure safety and positive outcomes for patients in detox and recovery
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of detox/behavioral health/psychiatric nursing experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience administering medications orally, subcutaneously, and intramuscularly.
- Ability to recognize withdrawal signs, medical instability, and psychiatric emergencies and respond appropriately.
- Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed by the medical team.
- Perform nursing assessments during intake and discharge.
- Conduct daily nursing assessments including CIWA and COWS.
- Monitor patient progress and document changes in the EHR.
- Make independent clinical decisions within RN scope of practice.
- Communicate clinical updates to nursing leadership and medical directors.
- Complete discharge assessments and required documentation.
- Follow infection control precautions and PPE use.
