The RN will work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Charge Nurses to provide high-quality nursing care and support to individuals receiving detoxification and behavioral health treatment services.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the detoxification and recovery process. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, medication administration, patient monitoring, treatment planning support, and coordination with the medical and clinical treatment teams. The RN plays a critical role in ensuring patient safety, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting positive patient outcomes.
The Detox Nurse is instrumental in guiding patients safely through the detoxification process under physician orders. This role includes educating patients regarding their treatment and condition while providing accurate clinical reporting to physicians, ARNPs, and the treatment team.
