Job summary

A & N Healing Hearts is seeking reliable and compassionate caregivers to support an older adult in Bronzeville, Chicago (60653). You will provide daily living assistance, companionship, and a safe, supportive environment under nurse-led supervision, with weekend hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (Home Care, CNA, or related field preferred).
Valid ID and ability to pass background check & drug screening.
Reliable transportation to and from client homes.
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
Compassionate, honest, and dependable personality.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers, etc.).
Assist with medication reminders and mobility support.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping.
Offer companionship and emotional support.
Monitor and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or office.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
Follow client care plans and uphold agency policies and professional standards.
