Qualifications

• Licensed CNA or documented HHA training.
• Experience in dementia care required.
• Patient, compassionate and dependable mindset.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to transport client for outings.
• Commitment to the entire every-other-weekend assignment.
• Strong communication and professional boundaries.
• Able to pass Level II background screening.

Responsibilities

• Pickup client from adult day center on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
• Stay in client’s home all weekend, including overnight.
• Provide companionship and assist with daily activities.
• Prepare meals and follow client’s routine.
• Transport client for approved outings and shopping.
• Respond to care and safety needs, including overnight.
• Return client to center on Monday at 7:30 a.m.
• Accurately document care, working time, sleep interruptions, and mileage.
