Job summary

Wilden Pump & Engineering LLC is seeking a warehouse/kitting associate to support production by pulling/kitting parts for work orders and coordinating with the production team on shortages.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of kitting or material handling experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with inventory control systems. The role requires adherence to safety standards and continuous improvement initiatives on site.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0-3 years of kitting, material handling, receiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Physically pulls product required on work orders.
• Picks product from stock and issues components to WIP.
• Provides advance information to production coordinator regarding shortages.
• Utilizes KANBAN system to identify outages.
• Strives to reduce kitting errors and quality issues.
• Reports substitutions and BOM corrections to the production coordinator.
• Follows quality assurance procedures to ensure output quality.
• Aims to improve departmental efficiencies and reduce costs via continuous improvements.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures and maintains internal customer relations.
• Maintains established inventory control systems and computer tracking.
• Maintains high 5S standards in the Kitting area.
• Commits to safety and OH&S improvements and company policy integrity.
• Works overtime as assigned and completes all duties.

Education:

Experience:

• 1-3 Years of kitting, material handling, receiving experience, preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Individuals in this position are expected to have a thorough knowledge of plant layout, warehouse mapping, equipment applications, material requirements and good inventory control practices

• Persons shall demonstrate competency when using computers (Oracle and Windows) and various printers

• Individuals should exhibit strong communication and organizational skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Physically pulls product required on work orders.

• Strives to maintain high level 5s in Kitting area
