Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Tulsa seeks an Advanced Composites Technician II for weekend days (Fri-Sun, 5:00 am–5:30 pm) to join a production team manufacturing composite aircraft parts. Under moderate supervision, you will lay-up, cut, bag, autoclave, trim and repair composite components, read blueprints and work orders, use precision tools, and maintain logs.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years of related composite experience; ability to read scales; basic computer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years related composite experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Read and interpret 6" scale.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture composite aircraft parts to spec in a team environment.
• Meet Manufacturing Competencies in evaluations.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets.
• Use precision tools including 6" scale, 1" micrometer, 6" dial caliper.
• Check work for defect-free assembly before inspection.
• Maintain logs and records (MIR, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs, DR/DI).
• Keep work area neat; support FOD and 5S; assist Lean activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
