Job summary

Vocational Guidance Services is seeking a general custodian for weekend shifts at 2200 West Broad St., Columbus, OH. The role involves cleaning duties on Saturdays and Sundays, 7:30am-4:00pm, with nonexempt status and adherence to safety policies.

The custodian will perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, restroom maintenance, waste handling, and setup for meetings and events, while ensuring quality and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass background checks as required by site.
• Previous custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned custodial tasks in a commercial cleaning account.
• Maintain cleanliness to meet customer quality expectations.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, offices, and restrooms.
• Operate a power vacuum and proper cleaning chemicals.
• Stock cart and assist with setup for meetings and events.
• Follow all safety procedures and report equipment issues.
