Job summary

Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT is actively hiring CT Technologists to support the weekend shift. Our CT Technologists perform diagnostic CT procedures, selecting exposure factors and scan fields to produce accurate cross‑sectional images for radiologists.

Education requirements include graduates from an accredited Radiography program and Connecticut radiographer license; BLS is required. New grads are welcome; 6 months radiology experience preferred and venipuncture knowledge.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• 6 months experience in Radiology hospital setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of CT Technology and venipuncture.
• Accepting New Grads.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures under radiologist supervision.
• Select exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields to produce accurate images.
• Assist radiologists and physician assistants during complex CT exams.
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety.
