Job summary

Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT is actively hiring CT Technologists to support the weekend shift. The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic CT procedures, select exposure factors, and produce cross-sectional images to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiography program, CT Radiographer license in CT, and BLS certification. New grads accepted; 6 months radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures and assist radiologist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Select correct exposure factors, algorithms, and scan fields to produce accurate cross-sectional images.
• Contribute to complex examinations with proper sterile technique and radiologist/physician assistant support.
