Job summary

AdventHealth in Chatsworth, GA is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS. The role requires ARRT CT, RT(R), BLS, and at least 1 year of experience.

You will educate patients about procedures, administer IV contrast per safety guidelines, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver quality imaging while following ALARA principles. Lung and abdomen protocols apply.

• Patient care and communication skills to deal with patients across age groups.
• Must be able to use computer system for data entry and retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams promptly.
• Operates imaging equipment safely, adjusting protocols for all ages.
• Performs high-quality CT exams per orders and protocols.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Positions patients accurately with attention to radiation safety (ALARA).
• Collaborates with radiologists and clinicians for appropriate imaging and continuity of care.
• Ensures rooms are clean, stocked, and equipment is safe and inspected.
