Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time CT Technologist II for weekend shifts at our radiology department in Easton, PA.

The role focuses on performing CT scans with careful attention to safety and quality, communicating clearly with patients, and ensuring accurate image preparation for radiologist interpretation. The candidate should have a radiography background, up-to-date BLS, and be prepared to obtain PA licensure/ARRT CT credentials within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited Radiography program or equivalent.
• Less than 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT RT certification (PA state licensure) within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scans of designated anatomy with professional judgment and adheres to physician specifications.
• Reviews images; repeats as needed for best possible result.
• Prepares patient, explains exam and maintains confidentiality of PHI/HIPAA information.
• Prepares images for PACS and administers contrast media per protocol.
• Notifies physician of adverse reactions to contrast media or patient condition changes.
