Qualifications

• Accredited two-year radiologic technology program required.
• ARRT Radiologic Technology registration with documented CT training or cross-training program.
• Advanced ARRT or NMTCB CT certification required within one year of hire date.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License required for outpatient facilities.
• American Heart Association CPR required.
• Six months relevant experience required; three years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiology and CT examinations by confirming orders, verifying identities, and obtaining medical histories.
• Perform radiology/CT procedures across age groups and maintain competency through Orientation tools.
• Assist in transporting patients when required and ensure safety practices.
• Adhere to department policies and ensure efficient operations and quality patient care.
• Maintain radiology information systems and ensure accurate documentation for billing.
