Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Per Diem Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at Jessup Correctional Institution in Jessup, Maryland. The NP will work under physician supervision in a correctional setting, performing assessments, diagnosing, and managing medications for a diverse patient population on weekend shifts.

This role offers schedule flexibility with weekend coverage and a chance to deliver patient-centered care in a secure, structured environment while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Maryland APRN license.
• ANCC or AANP Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to pass background check.
• 2+ years' experience working as an NP.
• Current DEA registration and CDS registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and diagnose conditions.
• Manage medications and treatment plans for patients.
